The West African Gas Pipeline is scheduled to adjourn its scheduled Pipeline maintenance for two weeks owing to an imminent power crisis situation in Ghana.
The maintenance was initially planned to start this week. This schedule has been intercepted by the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) as a significant threat to the supply of power to the country.

The decision to postpone the scheduled maintenance follows negotiations led by a technical committee established by Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff,to address the Looming Power situation.
Following the meeting WAPCo has agreed to postpone the scheduled maintenance. In order to allow authorities the needed time to secure fuel supplies and stabilize electricity generation.
