Marcelo Vieira da Silva Junior has opted to hang his boots and wave bye bye to his professional Football career at age 36.
He was a few months away to playing till 37 as his birthday is due on the 12th of May. Despite his retirement, he emphasized he still has more to give to football- “My story as a player ends here but I still have much to give to football”.
Could he be thinking of a coaching career? Time might reveal that to us soon.
