Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday November 19th, 2024, Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communication Officer of the National Democratic Party alleged the possibility of planned vote rigging. He mentioned the party had intel on the plans of possible disturbances in the upcoming Elections.
He stated that

He therefore admonished Dr. George Akuffu-Dampare,the Inspector General of police and other concerned security agencies to strengthen measures to ensure a fair election.
He emphasized that all relevant security agencies had a role to play in ensuring an election devoid of violence.
