BAGBIN ENCOURAGES PRESIDENT-ELECT TO DELIVER ON HIS PROMISE TO RESET GHANA

Algban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, the speaker of parliament has explained that the parliament and the government has vital roles to play in order for the new government to fufil its role in delivering on their election promise- reset Ghana.

He congratulated the president elect and his vice presidential candidate, Naana Opoku-Agyemang on their victory. He also stated that much was expected from whom much was given.

‘As the saying goes, whom much is given ,much is expected.’

He emphasized that their resounding win was a sign of the resounding hope Ghanaians had placed in them, hoping in their promise to reset Ghana. He reminded them of their duty in delivering on this promise to Ghanaians

‘Your promise to reset Ghana has been massively endorsed by voters and you cannot afford to dissapoint them.’- He stated.

He assured them of the support and cooperation of the parliament in ensuring that the new government fulfills its pledges.
