The Eminent Persons of the Christian Council has called on all security services to be professional and impartial during the 2024 December general elections. The group consists of Christian and Muslim leaders. They emphasized that the police had to ensure that every voter could exercise their franchise without fear or intimidation. They explained that our security personnel had the task to uphold the law fairly.

They explained that the integrity of the voting exercise depended greatly on the conduct of the security services.

Dr. Paul Kwabena Boafo, the co-chair of the group, explained that ensuring a fair and peaceful elections was necessary to justify trustworthiness in the elections results .
