Ahead of the December 2024 elections, there is a viral video circulating on social media platforms. This video shows a White Pickup truck allegedly carrying the voters register.
This register is alleged to be the voters register of Ahafo Ano 1 and 2.
The Electoral Commission deputy chairman of operations Samuel Tettey has addressed this allegation. In a press statement he dismisses the video as a move to sow confusion and mistrust in the electoral process.

He stated that the voters register for the commission was in black and white but the ones shown in the video was colored. He urged the Police to investigate the matter and added that the said Pickup in the video was not theirs.
