The minority members of parliament were enraged about the finance minister’s absence in parliament on Tuesday. The absence according to them was without any prior notice or reason .This action to them was causing a delay in the presentation of the mini budget.
The finance minister ,Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam will make the presentation of the mini budget to parliament this week.

The appropriation bill which is also known as the spending bill is a proposed law that outlines the expenditure of government funds. The bill to be presented by Dr. Amin Adam will present the government expenditure from January to March 2025. This will be laid before the house for the review of the Financial Committee before the debate and consent of the house.
The approval of the bill will lay the fiscal framework for sustaining essential government activities in early 2025.
