Rebecca Akufu-Addo, the outgoing First lady of Ghana has confronted an MP in Parliament. During the State of the Nation Address , the Deputy Minority Leader is alleged to have made a remark that concerns her husband, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffu-Addo.

Speaking to TV3,during an interview, Mutala Mohammed expressed that the First Lady had confronted Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah over the said remark. She confronted him on her way out of the chamber. The Deputy Minority Leader is said to have passed some comments on the floor after the President presented His address.
