The president of Ghana, His excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo commissioned the Flower Pot Interchange on Tuesday 19.11.24. During the commissioning, Titus Nii Glover, the Greater Accra Regional minister emphasized that the chief executives and all the people in charge should ensure that the place is kept attractive and neat.
“I don’t want to see kiosks and the chief executives should listen to me, we don’t want kiosks and containers littered all over here”
A day after this event some hawkers have been spotted setting up wooden structures and displaying their goods for sale. This triggered a response from Titus Nii Glover,the Greater Accra Regional minister.
In a viral video circulating on social media platforms today 20.11.24,Daniel Nii Kwatei Titus Glover is spotted scattering structures used by hawkers to sell their goods.

One of his concerns is to maintain and preserve the beauty of the edifice.
The Flower pot interchange, located at Spintex, Accra, was constructed by China Railway Engineering Ghana. This project includes an 802-metre dual carriageway and a modern overpass.
This interchange will serve the purpose of improving road network in Accra .
The project also aims to reduce traffic congestion in Spintex and its environs.
Many social media users described the interchange as remarkable. Some Ghanaians have taken the opportunity to praise the efforts of the sitting president and his administration in this project.
