Forgiveness Means:

Letting go of the pain and discomfort associated with remembering an action or event that occurred to cause that feeling.

What Unforgiveness Does

Have you noticed that whenever you think about that bad thing your neighbor did to you, you get so angry, your heart begins to pound so fast, sometimes causing you to cry. You may even feel your head ache from thinking about such situations and events. This is why you must let it go-forgive!

Letting Go

Well I’m not here to tell you “forgiveness “ is an easy feat-fat from it. It is very hard to practice or even explain. Forgiveness has no formula . You can start by ignoring the event in order not to think about it, whenever it shows up in your mind about what happened that hurt you, you can push it aside . You can decide not to dwell your mind on things that hurt you but dwell on things that make you refreshed and relaxed. When you think about things that hurt you and cause you pain you put lots of pressure on your heart and you become unhappy, you may even lose appetite for food or eat too much which may lead to obesity or health issues.

Why Forgiveness is a Must

We encourage forgiveness in order to protect our heart, to have good memories and focus on good thoughts, thoughts that bring peace and joy not otherwise. We encourage forgiveness so that we can eat well and rest well- not loose sleep over the actions of others that we have no control over.
One cannot control the actions of others towards him or her but one can decide how to feel about the actions and deeds of others.
