Following the fire outbreak in Accra,Kantamato on 2nd January 2025, the Ghana Commercial Bank has announced the closure of its Liberty House branch.
in a statement, the management of GBC has apologized for any inconvenience caused. They also assured their customers and stakeholders that measures have been put in place to minimize any inconvenience.

The statement mentioned that the closure was temporary. They explained that this action was to ensure the safety of the staff,customers and the assets of the bank.
The management of GCB encouraged customers to visit nearby branches such as Makola, Okaishie, Adabraka,Derby Avenue, Republic House and High Street to utilize their services.
The bank encourages customers to utilize their digital platforms and other branches nationwide for all services.
