In an interview with GHone,Nana Abodade III expressed His disappointment in the Akuffu-Addo’s led administration. He explained that He believes Nana Addo could have achieved more with the resources He was given.He also stated that given the revenue available for the Akuffu-Addo led government, the outgoing president could have delivered more.

The Krontihene openly judged the outgoing President’s governance and declared His support for the in-coming NDC government led by John Mahama. He criticized Akuffu Addo’s behavior towards chiefs and He also expressed His relief that Akuffu-Addo’s tenure was ending soon.
He expressed His gratitude to God for giving the mantle to John Mahama.
‘We thank God that the good Lord is about to give the mantle to President Mahama’
He stated that a number of people were happy that the Akuffu-Addo led government had come to an end. He further stated that Akuffu-Addo was leaving a questionable legacy. He alluded Akuffu-Addo’s leaving office to Luke 10:29. He mentioned that Ghana had been robbed, stripped naked and bleeding but a good Samaritan had come to her rescue.
