Ghanaian footballer Mohammed Kudus made headlines recently with his unique goal celebration, where he was seen sitting on a custom-made elephant chair, traditionally used by Ghanaian chiefs. The stool, rich in cultural significance, symbolizes “Authority and Kingship.”
In an interview, Kudus explained his decision to incorporate his cultural heritage into his celebration, moving away from the conventional steward’s seat pose. “I thought, why not do something different?” he said. “The kings sit on it; this stool is very special and shows authority and kingship.”

Kudus aims to make the stool an integral part of his brand, setting him apart from other players. “When I bring my stool out now, it will be a totem of my brand, and no one can do it,” he stated.
