Government has offered 1million Ghana cedis as a relief to the Kantamanto Market Fire Victims. This donation was made to assist victims of the market disaster that happened in Kantamanto Market in Accra on January 2nd 2025.

Mr.Debrah ,a member of the delegation team stated that there was hope. He explained that President Mahama was elected to solve problems and was ready to offer assistance regardless of politics.He stated-
“There is hope. The President was elected to solve problems and is ready to help devoid of politics”
The presentation follows a promise the President made after the Kantamanto Traders Union paid a courtesy call on him a week after taking office .
