The Minister designate for Energy, John Jinapor, has instructed the Electricity Company of Ghana to halt all payments for supplies.

The Minister designate cautioned the workers in the finance section of the ECG against any directive to make any payments of any sorts. He stated that there will be consequences to anyone who disregards this order.
He emphasized the need to streamline operations and guard resources in order to improve efficiency in the organization.
