The President-elect John Mahama has appointed a six member team to supervise and organize National Security matters pending substantive appointments to significant positions.

The team is tasked with ensuring a smooth transition in National Security operations as the new government assumes office.
According to Felix Kwakye Ofosu,special aide to the President-elect,the team will assume responsibilities starting January 7th 2025.
The team is to be led by Prosper Bani, former Minister of Interior. Other members of the team include

2. Kofi Totobi Quakyi
3. Larry Gbevlo-Lartey
4. Brigadier General Fuseini Iddrissu
5.COP Nathaniel Kofi Boakye (RTD)
