The president-elect, John Mahama has condemned the government under the leadership of Nana Akufu-Addo. He pointed out the significant burden of debt this administration has laid upon the Ghanaian economy. John Mahama expresses concern about positive image the current government is portraying while he explains that what is actually happening on the grounds speaks otherwise.

John Mahama is concerned that the accumulated debt could hinder progress . He also suggested that the portrayal of a positive outlook and the optimism of all things working could be misleading.
He assured Ghanaians that ,during his administration, there will be more transparency concerning the true state of the economy.
