On Friday, January 25th 2025, President John Mahama officially swore in five new Ministers. The event took place at the jubilee house . The Ministers were sworn in following their approval by the parliament.
After an extensive vetting process and rigorous debates on the 23rd and 24th of January these nominated MPs gained the undisputed approval of Parliament.

The President called on the sworn-in Ministers to demonstrate diligence, accountability and innovation while tackling the nation’s urgent needs. He also encouraged them to prioritize accountability and inclusivity while delivering on their responsibilities.
The sworn-in Ministers include:
- Madam Abla Dzifa Gomashie- Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts.
- Mr. George Opare Addo- Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment
- Madam Emelia Arthur -Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development
- Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim-Minister for Local Government, ChieftaincyM and Religious Affairs
- Madam Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare- Minister for Trade, Industry and Agribusiness
