McDan has a debt to pay to the Ghana Airport Company Limited. This debt includes land leases,rentals and terminal charges. McDan Aviation was given up to December to settle the debt but unfortunately they have not settled the debt yet.

The outstanding amount of $3millon was accumulated over a period of time. This marks the second time McDan Aviation has faced such a situation.
There have been other instances where the McDan Aviation operations have been summoned. Mcdan faced several shutdowns for unmet conditions demanded by GACL.
This time ,McDan faces closure due to an outstanding debt of $3millon.
