The sitting president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has listed the members of his transition team, it has been stated that the transition team will consist of thirteen (13) members. This team includes the chief of staff ,Akosua Frema Osei -Opare.She will act as co-chairperson of the team

The statement explained that this move is in accordance with The Presidential Transition Act, 2012, (Act 845). According to section 1(3) of the Act,
The list includes former speaker of parliament Prof. Mike Aaron Oquaye, who will serve as advisory council. Mr. Alban Bagbin, the speaker of parliament will serve as chairperson of the council.

A statement issued by the communications directorate of the presidency stated that the team would be inaugurated on 11.12.24 after a meeting with the sitting president and the president elect.
John Mahama, the president elect had earlier on listed his side of the transition team.
The team’s duty is to ensure a smooth and peaceful transition of power.
