NAPO CAMPAIGNS FOR JOHN MAHAMA- MISTAKE OR INTENTIONAL.
Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh ,Vice presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party openly implored Ghanaians to vote for the opposition presidential candidate John Mahama.
During a campaign stop to rally for himself and his political party ,Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh emphatically mentioned to vote for John Mahama-Yes- He mentioned the name of his opponent twice.
He was standing on a campaign platform and holding the hand of Mr. Lomotey, the NPP parliamentary aspirant for the area. The crowd and Mr. Lomotey had to draw his attention with shouts and gazes. He confidently mentioned the name John Mahama. He said it twice before he realized the blunder and retracted his statement.

Personally I think he sees himself as incompetent for this election. So that was what made him say such a statement or it may be that he now has allies with the opposition party
