The Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (OMC) has cautioned the public of a potential fuel shortage in the coming days .

Dr. Riverson Oppong,the Chief Executive Officer of the organization, has cautioned the government to take a swift approach to address the situation. Addressing the issue,He urged the government to be decisive in attending to the matter.
The Chamber has attributed the potential scarcity to the suspension of the ” gold for oil” initiative and the operational halt of the Sentuo Oil’s refining operations.
They also stated that they had warned the government about the potential situation but the government refused to adhere to them.
“When the gold-for-oil started,it peaked,and when it peaked,we in the petroleum sector saw this coming. Anytime you are drawing a graph and there is a peak, there is a fall and we warned the government but it won’t listen” He mentioned
