One Michael Allottey has been arrested for possession of weapons at one of the polling centers in the Greater Accra Region. This incident occurred when Michael Allottey confronted the EC official at the poling centre. He argued with the EC official that pink sheets for section A and B had to be completed before the voting began.
This incidence happened at the St. Theresa School polling station in Okaikwei South Constituency. Eye witnesses said there was a heated argument between Michael Allotey and the EC official. The argument escalated to a point but was resolved. It was after the argument that the police discovered he possessed a weapon.

Michael Allotey is reportedly an agent of the National Democratic Congress. He is now in police custody assisting in further investigations.
