Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, the vice-presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on Ghanaians to embrace change and participate actively in the 2024 elections to shape the country’s future.
After voting at the M.A. JHS A polling station in Komenda, she expressed optimism about the peaceful electoral process and commended citizens for maintaining calm.
Speaking to the media, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang emphasized the power of each vote in driving Ghana toward transformation. She encouraged eligible voters to head to the polls, stressing that their participation is critical to the nation’s progress.
“I urge everyone, especially those still at home, to come out and vote. This is your chance to advocate for transformative leadership that prioritizes the progress of Ghana,” she stated.
As the running mate to former President John Dramani Mahama, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang reiterated the NDC’s commitment to steering the country toward development and prosperity. She encouraged voters to reflect carefully on Ghana’s future when casting their ballots.
