President Mahama Dissolves Boards of State Institutions

President John Mahama has served a notice that all boards of statutory corporations, commissions and councils appointed under the previous administration be dissolved.

The notice signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu,Acting Spokesperson to the President, issues an official notice to affected members of statutory boards,councils and corporations that their tenure ended when the new President and his administration assumed power.

The directive serves as one of the measures to ensure the restructuring of State Institutions.

The directive is in accordance with the Presidential (Transition )Act, 2012 (ACT 845). This directive is effective immediately.
