Speaking at a meeting with Mali’s Prime Minister, General Maiga,the President of Ghana, John Mahama expressed his concern about the rise in terrorism in Ghana’s Neighboring Countries.
President John Mahama mentioned to Prime Minister Maiga that Ghana is ready to support Mali and other African Countries towards combating terrorism and restoring peace
President Mahama emphasized that African Countries needed to work closely together to tackle insurgencies and terrorism acts.
He explained
‘We must work closely together. We know what is happening in geopolitics of our sub region and the unfortunate situation unfolding in the Sahel.”
