The world Champion of the 2018 edition of the Roland- Garros WTA (Women’s Tennis Association ) tennis event held annually in France has decided to call it Quits.
Simona Halep full of emotions disclosed this to the home crowd in Romania after suffering a 2-0 defeat to the Italian Lucia Bronzetti at Cluj (Romania).
Halep faced nearly a two year ban from tennis due to Tennis’ Strict anti-doping rules which saw her out of competition. Her comeback after the suspension was lifted has not gone down well as she had wished.
The world of tennis will surely miss her. Well wishes poured in as she took a bow.
