The December 2024 general elections has ended officially in all polling stations across the country.
Votes are being counted at the various polling stations. The Electoral commission is holding several media briefings to keep the public informed. There were a number of disturbing incidences recorded and mutual accusations between the two opposing parties; NDC and NPP. There were alleged instances of ballot stuffing. Police arrested four individuals over a shooting incident that led to the death of one person and the injury of another at one centre in the Northern region

Final results continue to trickle in from all centers. There is an expected seventy two hour window for the results to be announced.
