Nana Amoasi VII has expressed his dissatisfaction with the transition team towards their preparation in the governments transition. He explained that no arrangements were made to procure resources to ensure a stable power supply. He stated that the situation had been expected. He explained that the IES was aware of the systematic inefficiencies in the sector.
As the Executive Director of the Institute for Energy Security, He stated that Ghana is in a fragile state with regards to the power supply.
Speaking in an interview with Citi Fm, He backed the claims of John Jinapor in signaling an approaching power crisis.

He called on the current administration to act swiftly in addressing the looming power situation.
