JINAPOR WARNS OF LOOMING ENERGY CRISIS

John Jinapor,Member of Parliament for Yapei Kusawgu has warned of a coming power situation. He has revealed that the country’s fuel stock is highly limited.

He explained the outgoing government had failed to secure the necessary fuel supplies to meet the needs of the country.

Speaking after the President-elect’s inauguration, He explained that the nation had only five hours of fuel remaining. He explained that the stock of heavy fuel oil and diesel fuel available may not suffice the needs of the country for two days. He stated :

‘If you look at heavy fuel oil and diesel fuel,we do not have up to two days. And do in two days time we are likely to run out of fuel “

John Jinapor criticized the inaction of the NPP administration in security the needed amount of fuel and pointed that this will lead to a dumsor situation.

He therefore urged the government to take immediate action to address the situation.
