Mr. Afeanyo Markin calls for transparency in the funding of the president-elect’s anti corruption investigations committee. He emphasized that it was important for the team to declare who their financier is. He added that private financiers should be discouraged as it could lead to the process being corrupted. He also stated that they needed to make clear the allocation of resources if te committee was going to be funded by the publi purse.

He further questioned the funding of the basic needs of the team such as the funding for fuel and office set-ups. The NPP, led by Afenyo Markin , proposes plans to investigate the work of Mahama’s anti corruption team to ensure accountability.
