The president elect paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewusoale. During this visit, His Royal Majesty encouraged the president-elect John Mahama to employ policies that the ordinary Ghanaian can identify with.
As He expressed His hope in the fact that the president -elect would employ relatable policies, He also reminded the president -elect that he was in a social contract with the citizens of Ghana as he assumes office in January 7th 2025. He stated:
‘as you embark on this new chapter, I must remind you that you have entered a social contract with the people of Ghana’

He emphasized that Mahama’s re-election into office was enough evidence to his good works during His previous administration. He also noted this was a sign of the confidence Ghanaians had placed in him.
