The fire started around 1:00 am, 2nd January 2025. So far the fire has destroyed over 100 shops. Firefighters deployed over 13 tenders to control the blaze.
News suggest that the extent of the damage to properties is significant.
Firefighters are working tirelessly to prevent further damage and to bring the situation under control.
