Irregularities were discovered in the recoalition exercise for the Dome Kwabenya and Ablekuma Nirth constituencies. As a result the EC has directed officials to put the exercise on hold while the commission investigates the matter further.

Some of the irregularities include inadequate pink sheets and unresolved issues over key election documents.
The EC has assured stakeholders that they are committed to resolving the issues affecting these outstanding constituencies. Benjamin Bano Bio, the director of electoral services stated their commitment in upholding the integrity of the electoral commission in resolving the matter. He also emphasized that investigations are on-going to address the inadequate pink sheets ,the missing documents and other related issues.
