Lil Win to Contest Afigya Kwabre North Parliamentary Seat in 2028 Elections

Renowned Ghanaian actor and entertainer, Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win, has officially declared his intention to contest the Afigya Kwabre North Constituency parliamentary seat in the 2028 elections as an independent candidate.

Lil Win’s decision to enter politics was initially planned for the 2024 elections, but he stepped aside due to concerns from various quarters . However, inspired by the recent electoral successes of fellow entertainment personalities, such as Baba Sadiq, Kwame A Plus, and Ebi Bright, he has renewed his determination to pursue a career in politics.

Lil Win emphasized the need for youth representation in parliament, stating, “We need the youth in parliament. The country needs fresh energy and bold ideas. He expressed confidence in his ability to bring about change in the Afigya Kwabre North constituency, vowing to unseat the incumbent MP, Collins Adomako-Mensah .

His decision to run is driven by his desire to inspire more youth to take active roles in governance and bring about the change Ghana needs.
