A statement released on December stated that there will be a commencement of the registration of elected members of parliament. The registration will commence with an online exercise on Wednesday 25.12.24

After the online section will follow an in person registration procedure scheduled to happen from January 2,2025 to January 6,2025.
The press statement also called the attention of elected MPS to certain important dates and times. These dates and times concern the dissolution of the inauguration event. These included the swearing in of the Speaker elect and the MPs elect and also the swearing in of the president and vice president elect. The statement mentioned the venue for the events and stated that honorable members are to be seated by 9:00 am to commence the ceremony.
The registration process is a necessary process towards the swearing in of the new members of parliament.
