John Mahama vs Bawumia

Former President John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential candidate, has assured Ghanaians that his leadership would embody the “righteous rule” that brings joy to the people.

Addressing the state of Ghana’s economy, Mahama emphasized the urgency for a transformative NDC government to alleviate the prevailing hardships and implement policies aimed at national progress.

During his three-day campaign tour of the Western Region, Mahama engaged with clergy and religious leaders, promising a brighter future if the NDC wins the upcoming December 7 general elections.

Sharing his interactions on Facebook on November 26, Mahama highlighted the frustrations voiced by the clergy:

“Listening to our Christian leaders in the Western Region, they spoke truth to power; they reflected the sorry state of development, the anger, and frustration of the people of the region.”

Reiterating his commitment to change, Mahama added:

“My assurance is that when the righteous rule, the people rejoice. This is the kind of leadership I promise to deliver to reset our country.”

Mahama also outlined his vision for revitalizing the Western Region, including:

  • Restoring the Sekondi-Takoradi Fishing Harbour
  • Revamping the railway system
  • Attracting local and foreign investors to drive regional development

As the campaign gains momentum, Mahama continues to position himself as the leader capable of steering Ghana towards renewed prosperity.
